We took over 50 pictures of this scene using a technique called, "Light Painting." Then, using photoshop, all of the pictures were combined to make the single shot with all the areas lit up.
This is a photo restoration of my great grandfather. The photo had scratches and tears all over it and was restored to a point in time when didn't have those. This is a highly coveted picture in the family.
There is a balance between giving an old photograph renewed life and maintaining the essence of the photo and the era in which is was taken.
