The night before Memorial Day – the City of San Francisco gathered together to celebrate 75 years of majestic beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge! It was a moment to remember when you consider the history of this bridge and how it was built at the start of the great depression and a lot of sacrifice went into making this ocean spanning bridge possible.
With Zach Cooper – we joined nearly 1 million people on the beach of the bay area for a 30 minute spectacular firework celebration! When we left for San Francisco the Friday before, we had no idea that this was happening but we soon discovered it because signs and notifications were everywhere about bridge closure and how it was highly advised to take public transportation!
These pictures will always represent one moment in time. Truly an event you will never forget. Beautiful!
Thanks!! I hope to never forgot it – but with photos like these… I hope the memories stick around for a while. 🙂
Thanks for sharing these awesome photos of a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Yeah! These photos were awesome – they aren’t like your awesome firework shots from last year… but I think they will do to remember! 🙂 Thanks!
I love your postcard! I want to see it printed… I also like the image with the waterfall fireworks off the bridge. I know this post is just a preview… I’m excited for more!!
More San Francisco photos to come… At some point we need to go back!! More adventures are waiting…
I love #7! As always beautiful shots Dustin. My vote is next time you take your professional light painter! 🙂
