Carnival Breeze – Eastern Caribbean Cruise

During this last winter, some friends of mine decided that we would read all of the Harry Potter books… watch all of the movies… and celebrate by going to Harry Potter World in Universal Studio Orlando! We had such a great time there and so much fun, but we knew before we even got there that the magic just couldn’t stop there. Some of us booked a cruise out of Port Canaveral to the Eastern Caribbean.

We set sail on the Carnival Breeze to four different Caribbean ports: Amber Cove, St. Thomas, Old San Juan, and Grand Turk.

In Amber Cove we went to the Waterfalls of Damajagua – which is highly recommended and very much an adventure! Take water shoes with you, though.

In St. Thomas we did some classic snorkeling to check out some sea turtles trotting along. Plus got to see some cool fish around some corral.

For Old San Juan, we just got off the ship and walked around ourselves without the need for an excursion. In close walking distance we were able to visit 2 of the fortresses there. If you have a National Parks pass, 4 people can get in for free. Pretty good deal for a day on the town.

Grand Turk still has some of the best beaches in I think. You don’t need much more than a beach chair, umbrella, and sunscreen. I took my snorkel mask with me and went exploring.

Extreme Light Painting

We took over 50 pictures of this scene using a technique called, “Light Painting.” Then, using photoshop, all of the pictures were combined to make the single shot with all the areas lit up.

Rome – Italy – Pt. 1

Rome was my favorite city in Italy. It was by far the most iconic when you consider the number of famous historical buildings that can be found here. There was some really cool things to see, especially in person, when you’re finally able…
