The Story

Stopping in Mazatlan on our 2nd Port day was a little more laid back in. We signed up to take the hop-on hop-off bus tour through town. We didn’t want to risk ourselves too much by attempting to walk every where in town. The bus tour was nice because it took us all the way to the other end of town, but at one of our hop-off points we came to this area where they have cliff divers that dive into the ocean and we also found this water slide built next to what looks like a sutra bath.

Probably the notable highlight in the city is it’s cathedral. Very gaudy and very detailed in the different things they put in there to represent the various symbols of the religion. Nothing short of captivating when you walk in trying to take in all that is on display.
