Looking at the original photos, you’ll be able to see already a lot of the edits that I did to get to the final photo. There are a few things in the final photo that did not come from another photo. Those things are:
1. Fog – Which was created using a “clouds” filter, masking, and opacity adjustments.
2. Headlight beams – The light beams were created by using a multiply, blurred, and curves adjustment layers.
3. Highlights and shadows – More dramatic and accented.
After it was all put together, I used Nik Software for finishing touches. I really like using Nik for this because it helps match color tones and pull everything together for a final photo.
