My roommate, and awesome friend, Zach Cooper, just bought a brand new car!! But not just any car… it is the new 2012 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. In other words – its the same car that I have, but in black! Here’s to my first post of my new car! The new 2012 VW Jetta GLI is one of the hottest cars I have had! I’m a car fanatic and taking pictures of this new car has been a blast!! What do you think?This was kind of fun to do. This my 2010 Toyota Corolla S. It’s normal color is Metallic Grey. However, After some playing around and going for more of an advertisement look, this is what came out. Actually, I wanted the car to be red… when I went to have it printed, the printed was calibrated correctly for that red and so the car came out orange. Eric Curry is an amazing night photographer! His style of capturing photographs in the dark inspired me to go out and do one of my own. This truck was found on some farm land here in Rexburg, Idaho that we had permission to photograph. What an awesome experience to get out there and do this. Post production of this truck has taken about 6.5 hours. The photographing alone took close to 2.5 hours. This is no easy task, but the final product was well worth it I think. There is a style of photography called Light Painting where you set a slow shutter speed and light up your subject with flash lights and flood lights.
